Born into a family of musicians\, there was a constant exposure to a diverse variety of music. His grandfather was a minister of music as well as jazz musician. His father\, a first generation\, Flora-Bama performer\, introduced him to honky-tonk and traditional country. Through his mother\, he found rock n' roll. His appreciation for such a wide variety of music results in a performance that is genuine\, no matter the genre. His sets are reminiscent of a history lesson over nine decades of music\, including his own original songs and a few unexpected but pleasant surprises sprinkled in. \n\n\n\nBRITTANY GRIMES - Brittany Grimes is a singer/songwriter proudly hailing from South Alabama. By age 15\, she was writing songs and performing in Nashville on Broadway. Over the years\, she has performed at many festivals\, including Nashville's CMA Fest\, along with many small town and well-known venues. Her influences in music range from the classics such as Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn\, down to local musicians and songwriters she's proud to call friends.
