The Alabama Coastal Foundation is hosting the Seventeenth Annual Good Life Bicycle Ride on May 9th, the Saturday of Mother's Day Weekend! The Ride encourages people to enjoy Alabama's scenic coastal environment in hopes that your passion to improve and protect it will grow. Go to www.GoodLifeRide.org to register for $40 which includes your choice of a guided 9-mile ride or the option to plan your own ride through the State Park, and then our post-ride party at Woodside Restaurant with a yummy lunch and beverage tickets (beer or wine if +21). The 2026 Good Life Ride begins and ends in the Gulf State Park's scenic backcountry trails, voted #1 Recreational Trail by USA Today for the past three years!

This year, we are offering two options that both include access to the delicious after-party at Woodside Grill: You take your own ride through the award-winning Gulf State Park any time that weekend or join our 9 mile Ride where we will gather at 8:30am in the parking lot to the east of the Lake Shelby Playground (20110 AL-135, Gulf Shores, AL 36542). The 9 mile route begins at 9:00am and the party will begin at 11:00!
