Community Safety Day

Community Safety Day is coming to Downtown OWA on August 22^nd, and it’s all about celebrating the people and organizations that keep our community safe and strong!
Spend the day meeting local first responders from across the area, watching K-9 training demonstrations, and enjoying a live DJ on OWA Island. Don’t miss the Heroes Hunger Games, where first responders go head-to-head in friendly competition.
Join us for a fun, feel-good day for families, friends, and neighbors to come together and show appreciation for the heroes among us!
Calling all first responders! Register your department for the Heroes Hunger Games, a fast-paced challenge where teams race to finish a sub sandwich, milkshake, pretzel, and large soda before suiting up in full gear.
