About Us

Baptist Health Care has been transforming health care in our community for more than 70 years. From our beginnings with a single hospital that opened in 1951 to the present, we have provided groundbreaking care. We will continue that legacy into our future. Baptist is the area’s only remaining not-for-profit health system that is based and led from within the Northwest Florida area. Our corporate office is located in Pensacola, Florida. All decisions that impact our community are made locally, not at a corporate headquarters in another state.

Our organization includes three hospitals, four medical parks, Andrews Institute for Orthopedic & Sports Medicine and a large network of primary care and specialty physicians. And care is provided at all locations by dedicated, compassionate and experienced teams.

Baptist Medical Group Primary Care provides quality family medicine services in the Perdido community. Our practice is centered on quality, one-on-one patient care between you and board-certified provider Sherri Ellis, MSN, APRN, ANP-C, FNP-C.
