International Women's Day is a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
The Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce Women Mean Business Committee announced a Women's Leadership Luncheon to be held on March 8th, 2023, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Grand Lagoon Yacht Club, located at 10653 Gulf Beach Hwy.
The committee created the event in order to bring together female business professionals and discuss issues of interest to women. The mission of the committee is to empower women by sharing professional experiences, collaborating in business relationships, and promoting community service.
Speakers include Jennifer Richardson, Attorney at Law, Emmanuel, Sheppard & Condon discussing "Women in the Work Place - What is next for the #metoo Movement, Pay Equity, and Parental Leave”.
Erin Wilmer, Wilmer Financial Group will present on “Financial Health for Women” with advice and strategies that can help women take control of their financial well-being.
Keynote Speaker, Michelle Caldwell will speak on “Breaking Barriers”. Caldwell is the founder of The Monument to Women Veterans, a Certified First Aid Mental Health Counselor, Founder of the Center for Military Excellence (CSME), developed the Escarosa Independence Fund and serves on the Board of The Coalition on the Homeless.
The event is open to all women. Tickets are available for $30 per person or $250 for a table of eight and includes lunch, a silent auction featuring designer handbags, and a gift of appreciation for every attendee.
