Perdido Key, Fla. — The Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce held its 41st Annual Dinner on January 20th at the Grand Lagoon Yacht Club, bringing together members, community leaders, and local businesses for an evening of celebration, recognition, and transition in leadership.
The event highlighted the achievements and dedication of chamber members while honoring those who have made a lasting impact on the Perdido Key community. A key moment of the evening included the ceremonial Passing of the Key to 2025 (Past) Board Chair Dr. Dean Wood, followed by the Passing of the Gavel to the incoming 2026 Board Chair, Tim Pyle.
The Chamber also recognized the service and commitment of outgoing board members Cheryl Bamonte and Pat McClellan, who retired from the board and were honored for their years of dedication to the organization.
Leadership Perdido Key Class II celebrated its graduation during the evening, with graduates receiving plaques in recognition of completing the program. Kendall Loper and Sadie O’Gara represented the class, sharing remarks on the knowledge and experiences gained through Leadership Perdido Key.
After 40 years, the Chamber officially retired its longtime logo and launched a new logo and brand designed to better reflect the spirit and identity of the Perdido Key community.
