Angelena’s Ristorante Italiano is pleased to offer a special dinner celebrating the Italian fall harvest featuring Chef Ian Gillette, with wines expertly paired by beverage manager, Matt Nichols. The dinner will be held in the main dining room on Thursday, October 29 at 5:30 p.m. The Harvest Dinner is a grand tradition that brings communities together to honor the season’s bounty. Chef Ian Gillette has crafted a special multi-course menu inspired by these traditional Italian harvest events featuring locally sourced ingredients, house made pasta, seasonal vegetables and rich, comforting flavors. The menu is as follows: Apertivo Raw Murder Point Oysters With mignonette sauce, Calabrian chili and pomegranate pearls Paired with Monte Tondo Garganega Frizzante, Verona NV Antipasti Rabbit & Pistachio Terrine With giardiniera, grainy mustard, Sicilian olive oil and grilled focaccia Paired with Felsina Berardenga, Chianti Classico, Tuscany 2023 Primi Wild Boar & Mushroom Ragù With mafaldine and Parmigiano Reggiano Paired with Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona, ‘Fabius,’ Rosso Sant’ AntimoTuscany 2023 Secondi Grilled Venison Chop With celeriac and parsnip purée, baby carrots, mugolio-roasted mushrooms and blackberry jus Paired with Petilia Le Sepaie Aglianico Irpinia, Campania 2018 Dolci Wild Honey Semifreddo With honeycomb and Fontina d’Aosta Paired with Amaro Nonino Quintessentia Liqueur, Friuli-Venezia Guilias Price for the five-course food and wine dinner is $150 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
